Porcelain Crowns

Through artistry and laboratory technique, we achieve outstanding results restoring teeth with all-porcelain crowns and veneers. The cutting edge technology of adhesive bonding dentistry makes these restorations second to none. By removing unhealthy or cracked tooth structure and replacing it with natural looking porcelain, which fits the tooth like a "thimble" or "jacket," we protect the remaining tooth structure and achieve a beautiful result.

Porcelain Veneers

Veneers are thin, strong, custom-made porcelain restorations which are bonded to a prepared tooth. The result is a restoration that mimics natural, beautiful tooth structure. The artistic fabrication of veneers contribues greatly to the final result. Therefore, we are careful to work with only highly skilled, artistic ceramists. This process is generally completed in 2 visits about a month apart.

Missing Teeth Replacement

Many of our patients seek a permanent solution to missing teeth. There are many technologies available, depending on our patient's priorities, values, and expectations. These technologies may include implant placement, bridges, partial or full dentures. Advanced dental techniques can add years to the health and beauty of your smile. In many cases, the result is so natural others would be surprised to learn that a tooth replacement procedure was performed.

Composite Fillings

Composite materials and adhesive techniques have become the foundation of modern restorative dentistry replacing amalgam. This type of filling will match the color of existing teeth and bonds directly to the teeth making them stronger.  This material requires less drilling and metal-free restorations.

Bonding

Bonding is a very conservative means to repair chipped, discololored, or misaligned teeth. It is a one-visit procedure that utilizes composite resin material sculpted directly onto the existing tooth. Minimal preparation is needed to achieve the desired result. Although not as long lasting or strong as all-porcelain restorations, this conservative and aesthetic procedure has enhanced the smiles of many of our patients.

Root Canals

A root canal is required when a tooth becomes infected or a large amount of decay exists in the nerve.  The nerve is removed so that there is no feeling in the tooth but the tooth itself remains in the mouth.  In most cases, a final restoration of a crown is required after the root canal is completed to stabilize the tooth.

Dental Implants

Dental Implants enable us to replace missing teeth giving back proper chewing function and providing the most natural aesthetic result. Implants provide an additional option in the case of a single missing tooth. In the past, extensive crown and bridge work was the method typically used. Today, with the conservative approach of dental implants, unnecessary tooth structure removal can be avoided.

Periodontal Disease

About 80 percent of U.S. adults have some form of gum disease!  With periodontal disease, the gums pull away from the teeth and form infected pockets which can be extremely painful.  If periodontal treatment is not completed on a routine basis, bone loss may start to occur and teeth may become loose and need to be extracted.
Teeth Extractions

In some cases, an extraction of a tooth may be required.  We pride ourselves in taking as gentle approach as one can with this type of procedure.  Following post-op instructions can minimize patient discomfort.

Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening is a process that will restore teeth to their whitest shade.  We provide two different methods of whitening that are Zoom Bleaching and take home Bleach Trays. Zoom bleaching is a procedure completed in the office with results in two hours. Take-home trays are a relatively inexpensive method, using prescription strength bleach gel and custom molded trays that can be worn for a short time during the day but take longer to achieve the results.

Technology - Digital X-Rays

Because the Digital X-Ray system is more sensitive than x-ray film systems, your exposure to x-rays is decreased by 75% or more. Our chairside computer screens enable us to view these digital x-rays easier and with high resolution.

Technology - Lasers

The use of lasers in dentistry is a long-awaited technology. We are proud to be on the cutting edge with the use of our soft-tissue laser. This laser allows us to exactly sculpt excess gum tissue with minimal trauma and excellent results. We also use soft tissue laser to treat cold sores and apthous lesions. If treated within 24 hours of initial occurrence, almost instant pain relief is accomplished completely painlessly.

Technology - Intra-Oral Cameras

Along with many advances in technology, the intra-oral camera enables a clear method of communication between doctor and patient. This enables us to accurately show the current condition and health of a mouth in a comfortable fashion.
